Meditation

In this weeks message Arthur Blessitt described his journeys through the world sharing the good news of Jesus Christ. As he described his journey there were many valuable lessons to learn from his experience. One lesson learned from his experience is that of obedience.

It is imperative that as Christ followers we are obedient to the direction of God in our lives. Many of us rack our brains on a daily basis trying to uncover God’s grand plan for our lives. However, we serve a very big God whose thoughts and ways are far greater then ours. (Isaiah 55:8) Rather then trying to understand God’s big plan for our life all at once, it is more important to be obedient to God’s direction on a daily basis.

Arthur described a gradual process by which God led him to witness to the world. The process for Arthur to witness to the world began with God’s direction to build a cross and put it up in his coffee shop. Then God’s direction was to walk the streets with the cross. Later God’s direction was to walk the country. Subsequently, His call was to take the cross to the World. Understanding a grand plan for our life starts with following God’s direction on a daily basis.

Am I faithfully following God’s daily direction?
